Who dares to move in the footsteps of famous painters in the midst of a unique vineyards landscape, to get involved in a play of light and colours, to approach what cannot be grasped, will at the same time always look into the mystery, that vines hold in their profundity. Maybe that wine, as paintings, is just an approach to what is beyond words.
It’s therefore almost obvious that winegrower and painter meet one another, exchange, reflect and create something together. The project ART – WINE resulted from such an encounter: Three bottles of excellent wine of the Lavaux combined with an original painting from the same region form an incomparable souvenir.

AMS was born on April 28th 1945 in Zurich as the great-grandson of Eugène Luginbühl, citizen of Lausanne born 1850, and Pastor in St.Saphorin.
By profession natural scientist, he has also been passionate about painting since his youth. In 1961 he joined a group of painters (Malerkollegium Wetzikon ZH), and participated in their yearly exhibitions.
After moving to Graubünden, he founded a group of artists (painters, sculptors) named « Präkuscha » (PRÄttigauer-KUnst-SCHAffende) in 1972. The aim of the Präkuscha was the organisation of yearly exhibitions in different municipalities of the Prättigau GR.
Next to the exhibitions together with the group, the works of AMS were also displayed in separate exhibitions in Davos, Klosters, Landquart, Chur and Zurich.
